Landscape of rocks, moss and flowers, 2019
Food design, preparation and performance for the one day show Perspectives at Kunstfort Vijfhuizen curated and organized by Zippora Elders and Bruno Zhu.
Landscape of rocks, moss and flowers was a 5 hour performative assembly proposing intuitive mapping, gestures of care and collective sharing as a methodology for conceiving relational landscapes. The landscape was prepared on a singular table, following a pattern that worked against the grid. At the end of its assembly the audience was invited to share in a meal together, strangers and friends alike. No cutlery or gloves were provided, just bare hands and a gentle and aware approach.
